Maria is a member of SBS2 and she offers many sketches on her blog.

And the other Sketch Challenge is SC154. I had to share this challenge as it is a sketch used from one of my cards. Here’s the card that inspired the sketch: Tracy’s Card.

Here’s the Sketch:

Feel free to adjust the layers a bit on SC154 if you need to…I realize I love layers so you can tone it down if you need to. But please keep the main layers visible.

Thanks so much! PLEASE post your cards on you blog…feel free to use the codes given and post to your gallery on SCS and on Embellish-It Online.

Happy Thursday!

Welcome to the SBS Cafe!  Now we have a central place to chat and share ideas.

What would you like to see our little group do?

Leave me a comment with any ideas or even if you are running your own challenge on your blogs, I can post a notice up here for you so that all your sisters know when you have a challenge running!

SBS2 Siestas (SS Swap) January 6, 2008

Hello everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have announced on the SBS2 Yahoo Group but I wanted to also announce here what are plans are in case this idea will work for your group as well.

Here’s our plan:

SBS Secret Sister Swap

1. Email (optional)
2. Send 2 (or more) cards between 1.15.2008-2.15.2008
3. Send a reveal card by the end of February.
4. Share two cards you receive on your blog.

This is a Card Swap, small gifts are optional. I wanted to make the first Swap for our group as stress-free as possible.

Another thing one of our members did was create a Questionairre for us to share on our Yahoo Group. It has been fun getting to know each other in this manner.

I am ready for our group to begin blog challenges, RAK’s, and I love Katie’s SS idea.

Sisters we need your help! AN RAK request. December 12, 2007

Filed under: an RAK request,Uncategorized — sbscafe @ 4:43 pm

Hey SBS Sistas!

I need to call in a favor. If you read my last post, you know that my next-door neighbor Melanie died suddenly on Monday at age 44, leaving a very shocked and devastated family behind. (I also have more detailed info on a RAK request thread I posted in the Need a Lift Forum on SplitCoast….php?t=305831).

I took them dinner and a card last night and mentioned that I have a bunch of gals I “hang” with online who are cardmakers as well. I told them that if I said the word, he’d have dozens of cards in his mailbox. Jim thought that was just the coolest thing ever!

So could you help me out? He was totally fine with me posting their address, so you can send directly to him:

Thanks in advance for any and all cards sent–it will be so appreciated and needed!!!
